It’s Up to All of Us to Prevent Child Abuse

There Are Several Ways You Can Get Involved.

If you know or suspect that a child is being abused, contact The Pennsylvania ChildLine & Abuse Registry at 1-800-932-0313 or online at compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home. The hotline is available 24/7 and your report is always confidential.

Be present. Talk to your children about abuse, what abuse looks like, and who perpetrators of child abuse can be. Reassure your children they can tell you anything, and you will help them! Learn more about abuse and find tips on talking to your child about abuse.

Supporting local child and family-focused agencies is another great way to get involved with child abuse prevention. Now, more than ever, the Adams County Children’s Advocacy Center (ACCAC) needs your support. Community donations ensure the ACCAC is able to continue advocating for and providing services to victims of child abuse.

Monetary donations greatly help our efforts to prevent and respond to child abuse.

If you are looking to play a more active role in the ACCAC’s mission to reduce, and ultimately, end child abuse, please complete the form below to receive additional information. Let us know in the comments if you prefer to be contacted via email or phone.
