Boys Documentary
April 22 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Although an uncomfortable topic, sex trafficking is real and does occur. While recent events in popular news have brought awareness to the female victims of sex trafficking, male victims are often overlooked.
In January 2014, Chris and Anna Smith began working with Kartal Peel and traveled across the United States to film this documentary. Together, they conducted interviews with survivors, service providers, and law enforcement to gain an understanding of male sex trafficking.
Through the narrative of four brave survivors, and allies standing with them, Boys Documentary tells the reality of male sex trafficking in the United States.
Join us for one of two free viewings of this 50-minute documentary, with discussion after, to learn more about this reality and its impact on male victims: April 22nd at 10am or April 22nd at 5:30pm.
